The STIHL FSA 80 R battery-powered scythe has excellent cutting performance if you want to mow grass quickly and easily or even trim the edges of the lawn. The powerful battery-powered scythe from the STIHL AK system is so quiet that you can use it without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas.

The compact design of the STIHL FSA 80 R and its closed handlebar give you flexibility when working and freedom of movement between trees and bushes and in other narrow places. Thanks to the quick coupling and release system, you can easily and quickly adjust the handlebar (R) and strap to your physiognomy so you always have an ergonomic working position.

The speed of the EC (brushless) motor can be adjusted via the throttle and/or via the variable power control with 2 different levels, depending on the application. Select a lower speed/power in ECO mode (level 1), for simpler tasks such as trimming grass edges. Providing lower energy consumption and longer battery life. For more demanding jobs, such as mowing denser grass/weeds, you can use the maximum speed/power simply by switching to level 2 via the slider. The speed automatically adapts to the attached cutting tool.

The STIHL FSA 80 R is supplied as standard with the STIHL AutoCut 27-2 cutting head.
