The STIHL FSA 80 battery-powered scythe has excellent cutting performance if you want to mow grass quickly and easily or even trim the edges of the lawn. The powerful battery-powered scythe from the STIHL AK system is so quiet that you can use it without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas.
The compact design of the STIHL FSA 80 and its “bicycle-style” handlebars provide great comfort for longer and more intensive use. You can quickly and easily adjust the handlebars thanks to the tool-free adjustment system, ensuring an excellent working position.
The speed of the EC (brushless) motor can be adjusted via the throttle and/or via the variable power control with 2 different levels, depending on the application. Select a lower speed/power in ECO mode (level 1), for simpler tasks such as trimming grass edges. Providing lower energy consumption and longer battery life. For more demanding jobs, such as cutting dense grass, you can use the maximum speed/power simply by switching to level 2 using the slider. The speed automatically adapts to the attached cutting tool.
The STIHL FSA 80 is compatible with metal tools for heavy-duty work.
