With the STIHL Cutting Kit 2 you can proactively ensure that the cutting performance of your STIHL MS 170, MS 171 petrol chainsaw remains consistently high. This allows you to change the chain and guide, adapted for your STIHL chainsaw, independently and precisely from anywhere. This means that your chain will quickly be ready for use again. You can access the instructions for changing the cutting unit via the QR code that appears on the packaging of your cutting kit, which will help you during assembly. The STIHL 2 cutting kit for STIHL MS 170 and STIHL MS 171 includes the following components to replace the cutting unit:

• • 1 x STIHL Rollomatic E Mini guide , 3/8″ P, 1.1 mm
  • 2 x STIHL 3/8″ P Picco Micro 3 chains (PM3; 1.1 mm)

The STIHL Rollomatic E Mini light guide helps you work with your chainsaw. It relieves back strain during long work intervals, for example when chopping firewood or cutting down small trees, as you have to exert less force. The robust and hard-wearing STIHL 3/8″ P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain offers high cutting performance. You can work comfortably with low rebound and vibrations, smaller trees or remove stronger branches.
These cutting kit components support the reliability of your chainsaw – even during long work sessions. You benefit from maximum performance and can work almost non-stop by changing the cutting kit.
