The STIHL DuroCut 20-2 Cutting Head is a two-line cutting head with manual pre-cut line loading, designed for clearing and trimming in tough grass and resistant vegetation. Unlike continuous-spool heads, the DuroCut 20-2 accepts lines of any shape and diameter available on the market — including round, square, star and twisted profiles — making it especially versatile when a more resistant or profile-specific line improves cutting performance.
Loading is straightforward: simply insert up to 2 pre-cut line segments into the head channels. When the line wears down, the operator inserts new segments — no rewinding, no length adjustment required. The robust construction in abrasion-resistant material ensures a long service life. For even greater durability, the dedicated wear protection for DuroCut 20-2 and 40-4 is available separately.
