The MSA 300 R incorporates specialist features for emergency applications. A depth limiter supports controlled plunge cuts, while the additional handle allows the cutting depth to be adjusted quickly during demanding rescue work.
Its STIHL Rapid Duro Rescue carbide-tipped saw chain is designed for cutting resistant materials encountered during emergency operations.
Intelligent performance management
Advanced electronics manage communication between the chainsaw and battery, supporting consistently high performance and adapting the machine to demanding working conditions.
Different operating modes allow the characteristics of the chainsaw to be matched to the task, while the operating and notification cockpit provides clear information on the status of key machine functions.
Chain lubrication monitoring
An integrated oil sensor monitors chain lubricant supply and provides a visual warning when insufficient oil is reaching the chain.
The adjustable oil pump also allows lubrication to be adapted to the cutting equipment and application.
