The STIHL FS 235 Brushcutter is a robust and powerful petrol clearing saw designed for advanced users and professionals who need impressive cutting performance in tall grass, scrub and brushwood. The STIHL 2-MIX EU Stage V engine combines effective power with low fuel consumption and reduced emissions, keeping running costs low over time.

The integrated carburettor compensator ensures that engine performance, exhaust quality and fuel consumption remain virtually constant over extended periods — even as the air filter gradually becomes contaminated. The filter only needs cleaning when a noticeable drop in performance occurs, extending maintenance intervals significantly. Automatic decompression reduces the compression pressure during starting, considerably lowering the effort required on the starter cord.

The ergonomic two-handed loop handle supports a natural cutting motion, making quick and efficient work across large areas straightforward. The handle adjusts and locks easily. The single-handed multi-function grip integrates all relevant controls and suits both right- and left-handed operators. The STIHL 1-point anti-vibration system reduces vibration transmission to the hands and body, making extended working sessions less tiring. The double shoulder harness included as standard improves weight distribution during work.

The FS 235 is supplied as standard with the AutoCut C 26-2 cutting head and the 250-3 brushcutter blade, covering both grass cutting and lighter brushwood. It is compatible with a range of STIHL cutting tools including grass blades and nylon cutting heads.
