The STIHL FS 91 R Brushcutter is a petrol clearing saw powered by the STIHL 4-MIX® engine, built for work on flat areas with resistant grass, including meadows, landscaped grounds and larger properties requiring regular maintenance. The 4-MIX® engine runs on the same petrol and oil mixture as two-stroke engines but uses four-stroke technology — combining the advantages of both systems in a single engine with low emissions and reduced fuel consumption.
The closed loop handle is the defining feature of the FS 91 R: designed for cutting on open, flat surfaces, it allows smooth and precise sweeping movements from side to side. The single-handed multi-function grip with integrated stop button centralises all controls and suits both right- and left-handed operators. Starting is simplified, reducing the effort required on the starter cord thanks to the automatic decompression system.
The larger-capacity fuel tank extends working time between refuelling stops, making the FS 91 R particularly productive during continuous work sessions across large areas. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces the transmission of vibrations to the hands and body, improving comfort during extended use. The padded double shoulder harness, included as standard, improves weight distribution and reduces fatigue.
The FS 91 R is supplied with the AutoCut C 26-2 cutting head and is compatible with a wide range of STIHL cutting tools, giving it the flexibility to handle different cutting tasks.
