STIHL HLA 40 Cordless Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer
Extended reach and precise control for trimming tall hedges from ground level 🌿✂️
The STIHL HLA 40 Cordless Long-Reach Hedge Trimmer is a compact and lightweight tool from the STIHL AS System, designed for maintaining tall hedges, shrubs, bushes and ornamental planting around home gardens.
Its combination of a telescopic shaft and an adjustable cutter bar makes it easier to reach high and awkward areas while working comfortably from ground level.
Tool-free telescopic shaft adjustment
The square telescopic shaft can be quickly adjusted using the twist-lock clamping system, allowing the working length to be adapted to the hedge and the task.
A practical loop handle provides freedom of movement and precise control, including when working between shrubs or in confined areas.
Adjustable cutter bar for versatile trimming
The quick-release adjustment system allows the cutter bar angle to be changed without tools, making it easier to trim the tops, sides and corners of hedges.
For transport and storage, the cutter bar can be folded parallel to the shaft until it locks securely into position.
Precise and smooth cutting performance
The double-stroke blades are laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened to provide a clean, consistent cutting pattern.
The double-sided cutting blade supports vertical, horizontal and corner trimming, while the counter-moving blades help reduce vibration and maintain a straight cutting line.
Easy transport and compact storage
The detachable shaft allows the HLA 40 to be quickly separated without tools, making transport easier and reducing the amount of storage space required.
Good tool balance, SoftGrip surfaces and the supplied shoulder strap provide greater comfort during longer trimming tasks.
The tool-only version is supplied without a battery or charger.
