The STIHL AutoCut 27-2 is a semi-automatic dual-line mowing head designed for cutting grass, trimming lawn edges and clearing around trees, walls and other obstacles.
While the machine is running, the mowing line is advanced by briefly tapping the head on the ground. This practical system allows the operator to continue working without stopping to adjust the line manually, supporting faster and more efficient mowing.
Its lightweight, robust construction helps maintain good machine balance and comfortable handling, particularly during longer periods of use. An ergonomic opening makes line refilling easier, while the optimised spool fastening simplifies regular operation and maintenance.
This version is supplied with round, low-noise mowing line for mowing and trimming work. A spool with metal protection in the main wear area is available as an optional accessory and is sold separately.
Compatibility confirmed across both official market sources includes the STIHL FS 55, FS 56 C-E, FS 70 C-E, FS 91, FS 94 C-E, FS 131, FS 240 C-E, FR 460 TC-EFM and FSA 135 R. Always confirm the exact machine version and use the STIHL guard specified for the mowing head.
